Cherished Teddies
With their soulful black eyes and irresistible take-me-home expressions, it is little wonder that Cherished Teddies have been captivating collectors and gift-givers since they were first introduced sixteen years ago!
These adorable Teddies were the brainchild of American artist and illustrator, Priscilla Hillman, who first came up with the idea whilst convalescing from an illness. Today her son, Glenn, works alongside her and together they come up with every new idea for each new figurine.
Priscilla and Glenn create meticulous artwork for every design including colours, size and, for the perfect finishing touch, give every figurine its special name, ever-so-appropriate (and oh-so-irresistible) title sentiment and a Certificate of Adoption!
Their original designs are then magically brought to life in three-dimensional form by a wonderful team of highly-skilled sculptors
And each and every bear then undergoes numerous painstaking processes before finally being painted.
Each Teddy has its own individual personality and charm, and it is this attention to detail, plus the humorous wit and fun that is attached to them that has firmly established Cherished Teddies as a favourite for both collectors and gift givers alike.
